Service Maintenance

Remkom LLC provides the following types of paid services for servicing OP and OVS sprayers and PS seed treaters:
  • commissioning of newly purchased equipment, including operator training and on-site visit to the Buyer;
  • removal of equipment from long-term storage;
  • scheduled maintenance service;
  • preparation of equipment for long-term storage after the season or before extended downtime.

Removal from Storage

  1. Visual Inspection and Defect Assessment: removal of protective packaging, draining antifreeze from the hydraulic communication system (if present), assessment of the condition of protective coatings, filters and seals, and identification of components that require replacement;
  2. Preparation for Start-Up: replacement, if necessary, of filter elements, membranes and seals in shut-off devices (nozzle bodies), reinstallation of units removed for storage, lubrication renewal, and inspection and tightening of fasteners (wheels, half-axles);
  3. System Start-Up and Adjustment: inspection operation hydraulic systems, sensors and units control, adjustment and update For (for if necessary), calibration compensation regulators section valves, adjustment boom, inspection pressure in tires, adjustment clearance bearings wheels;
  4. Test Run: testing the equipment with water, eliminating leaks in connections, and fine-tuning the systems;
  5. Training: providing consultations for operating personnel;
  6. Documentation: formal documentation indicating the list of work performed and the defect report.

Preparation for Storage

Important! Preliminary preparation for storage (washing, cleaning from dirt and pesticide residues) is performed by the Customer.

  1. Preparation: draining residual working solution from tanks and hydraulic lines, flushing them, blowing out the pump, and filling the hydraulic system with antifreeze or a similar low-freezing-point liquid;
  2. Visual Inspection and Defect Assessment: inspection of filtration systems, nozzle bodies, hoses, lines and seals, checking oil level and tire pressure, and eliminating (replacing) identified defects;
  3. Preservation: removal of detachable units for storage at the Customer’s site, treatment of hydraulic cylinder rods and the cardan shaft (if present), as well as other unpainted or galvanized parts with corrosion inhibitors and protective lubricants, including tires, and sealing of filler necks, openings and assemblies against moisture using protective polyethylene film or paraffined paper;
  4. Documentation: formal documentation indicating the list of work performed and the defect report.
