Advantages:
- self-propelled;
- 210 l polyethylene tank;
- dual-disc nozzle;
- the treatment chamber design increases the seed residence time in the treatment zone by 2–3 times, ensuring 100% treatment completeness;
- the working solution is supplied by a 12 V electric diaphragm pump;
- highly reliable programmable capacitive sensors with no moving parts in their design;
- two operating modes: manual and automatic;
- the augers are made from a fully drawn spiral (Italy) that prevents seed damage;
- built-in rinsing system;
- easy adjustment and convenient access to components for maintenance;
- suitable for treating seeds of wheat, barley, oats, rye, flax, peas, rapeseed, sunflower, and soybeans.
Brief overview of the design, operating principle, and maintenance of the PS-20 seed treater:
Modification:
PS-20K - self-propelled, with an automatic control system for the 12 V electric pump to set and maintain the required working-solution flow rate.
Equipment:
- aspiration system (motor-driven filter for dust extraction from the hopper);
- extended folding auger (discharge height: 4.5 m);
- connection cable.
The PS-20 chamber-type seed treater is an automatic self-propelled machine with electric drives for the main mechanisms. It consists of a seed hopper, treatment chamber, working-solution tank, pump, discharge auger, loading auger, front-wheel steering mechanism, self-propelled drive, liquid-flow control unit, and control cabinet.
All units are mounted on a frame installed on wheels with pneumatic tires. The discharge auger is raised and lowered by the operator using a winch. The loading auger is switched between operating and transport position with a lever. The auxiliary tank is filled with clean service water and is intended for rinsing the hydraulic system and washing the operator’s hands. The feed of seed and working solution into the treatment chamber is synchronized by three sensors mounted on the seed hopper. The upper and middle sensors control the loading auger drive, while the lower sensor controls the self-propelled drive and the pump.
