Modern industrial animal farming technologies involve concentrating large numbers of livestock in relatively small areas of livestock farms operating on a closed-loop basis. Therefore, sanitizing vehicles is extremely important. This is a mandatory biosecurity measure necessary to prevent the introduction of dangerous infections (such as African swine fever or avian influenza) into such facilities.
Currently, disinfection barriers in the form of baths are primarily used. This type of treatment has a significant drawback, as it does not ensure complete disinfection of all external surfaces of vehicles. A modern alternative is arched disinfection units (disinfection frames).

It consists of a liquid metering module (which supplies liquid to the spraying system under adjustable pressure) and a disinfection frame with spray assemblies, which creates a volumetric air-droplet flow directed at the outer surfaces of the vehicle as it passes through the entrance gate.
